Posty Crumbs Get the app

For creators

Set your work free.

Give your content a home. In a feed it gets forty-eight hours and then the feed moves on. On a map it stays where it happened, and it is there the next time someone shows up.

No creator tier, no application, no minimum following. You drop crumbs the same way everyone else does.

The first afternoon

How do creators use Posty Crumbs?

Most of this is an import, not a project. The work already exists.

Your back catalogue becomes a map

The photos already on your phone know where they were taken. Import them and they land at the places they are about — years of work, in one pass, without making anything new.

A world instead of a grid

Your crumbs organise themselves by subject into a Cloud people can move through — sourdough here, the tools over there, the bakeries you keep going back to. You can move anything that lands wrong.

The version of your city you would actually give someone

Not a list of ten places. A trail, in order, with the reason you go to each one — the thing you tell a friend who is visiting and which you have now typed out eleven times.

Sell your world, not your attention

Subscriptions, kits and single crumbs. A climber sells his mountain, a chef sells her New York, a musician sells the places behind an album. You keep 90%.

A stream people can walk into

You go live from a place, so the ones nearby can simply turn up. That is an audience in a room, which is not something a follower count has ever been able to give you.

Your profile may already exist

Some profiles here were built from a creator's public work and are marked Unclaimed. If one of them is yours, one email makes it yours — to edit, or to take down.

Money

How do creators make money on Posty Crumbs?

Three ways. Everything is sold on the web, not in the app. That is why no app store takes a cut, and why the split can stay where it is.

$5–25a month for a subscription to your world
$10–50for a kit — a climb, 48 hours in Tokyo, a city game
90%of all of it is yours

Social platforms let creators monetise an audience. Posty Crumbs lets you monetise a world. A world keeps working while you sleep, and it is still there in four years.

Questions

Four straight answers.

How do I get paid?

You sell subscriptions, kits or single crumbs, and you keep 90%. Everything is sold on the web rather than through an in-app purchase, which is what keeps the app stores out of it and the split at 90/10.

What if there is already a profile with my work on it?

Some profiles were built from a creator's public work and carry the mark Unclaimed, built from public work. If one of them is you, email hello@postycrumbs.com from an address that links to that work, or from the account named on it. You can then edit it, or have the whole thing removed. No argument.

Do I have to make new content?

No, and that is the point. Most of what is worth dropping already exists. Your photos know where they were taken, so the first hundred crumbs are an import, not a project.

What does it cost to join?

Nothing. No creator tier, no application, no minimum following.

Start with the five things you know well.

You have explained them a dozen times already. Leave them where they belong, once, and stop retyping the list.
